Brief description of role: Handles the internal duties of the organziation like fundings and bookings. 

Main takeaways from the interview: The role centers on managing the organization's operations, like funding, administrative tasks, event coordination, and support for site coordinators. The biggest challenge is the tight deadlines, especially related to securing and managing funds.

• What is your role within MAPS and what decisions do you usually have to make in this role?

His role within MAPS focuses on the internal operations and ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. He handles the administrative tasks like managing funding, booking resources, coordinating CPO vehicles for sites, and getting snacks for the children. He also contributes to baord-level decisions that affect the organization as a whole. In this role, he makes decisions related to prioritizing funding applications, scheduling resources, planning events like retreats and the upcoming art gallery, and determining how to allocate organizational resources efficiently to suppoty ongoing projects. 

• What makes it challenging?

The most challenging aspect of this role is the workload and the pressure of meeting deadlines. Managing multiple funding streams requires constant attention and organization, as missing a. deadline or an application can directly impact the success of MAPS. Additionally, much of the work is behnd the scenes, so it can feel overwhelming because it's critical to MAPS' operations. Balancing administrative responsibilities with event coordination and board-level decisions makes the role demanding, but it's overall essential to keep MAPS functioning effectively. 

• Review an ongoing project of theirs:

I reviewed their ongoing projects, which include organizing an art gallery event for the kids and securing CPO vehicles for transportation to sites. Both projects focus on coordinating logistics and fundind to ensure these projects run smoothly and safely. 

• Suggest one simple improvement or new idea:

One improvement I suggested was to organize the logistics of these projects into a spreadsheet that way it's less stressful dealing with the workload.
